‘We’re being clubbed to death by fear:’ Michigan longtime meteorologist fired after refusing vaccine

An experienced Michigan weatherman was fired for refusing a COVID-19 shot, saying ‘We are being clubbed to death with fear’ by vaccine pushers.

Karl Bohnak, who was a meteorologist for Gray Television station WLUC-TV, said he was booted after refusing to comply with the company’s vaccine mandates.

His employer is demanding proof of vaccination from anyone entering his property, Bohnak said in a lengthy Facebook post.

“It’s time to wake up to what’s happening here in America and around the world,” he said. “We are being clubbed to death by fear, I believe, in an attempt to control us.

“Eminent doctors, virologists and epidemiologists who post facts that contradict the ‘official’ accepted story about COVID are being censored; some lose their jobs… I have the right to choose – we all do. If we do nothing, we lose that right.’

President Joe Biden announced earlier this month that he would use an emergency order to force companies with 100 or more employees to require vaccines or weekly tests.

Bohnak, who has worked for the station since 1988, said he doesn’t believe the vaccine should be forced on anyone.

“Many of you have taken one of these injections, and that is absolutely your right,” he said. “It is also my right to choose the medical options that I think are right for me. I have authority over my body.’

He said he might consider getting the shot if he thought it would save him from the life-threatening effects of COVID-19, but he doesn’t believe the virus would kill him.

“For a normally healthy adult who is not in a nursing home or who does not suffer from serious co-morbidities, the chance of surviving COVID is well over 99 percent,” Bohnak said of a virus that has killed 674,000 Americans.

“I take the opportunity and go without a shot. I choose not to risk serious side effects.

While his records of record deposits haven’t caused much controversy, he’s been pelted like a hailstorm over his vaccine stance.

“You’re a selfish idiot,” Bob Tatus responded to the post. “When you get Covid, you sing a different tune. It’s just as well MY right that you don’t infect me.

“We could beat this waning pandemic if people like you would just stop whining and get vaxxed.”

Mathew Parker Dixon added: ‘Dude, you’re an old bastard. Someone your age doesn’t have a 99 percent survival rate for Delta.”

Others praised Bohnak for taking a stance against the vaccine, which has received full FDA approval for those 12 years and older.

“God bless you that you have risen,” Cynthia Smith Kraemer said. “Your God-given immunity is much better.”

“Thanks for holding the line,” Molly Jane Wentzel said. “So many of us appreciate you for that! This will all come to light soon!’

Bohnak claimed vaccine mandates take away Americans’ personal freedoms.

The weatherman says he has

The weatherman says he has “authority over my body” and should not be forced to be vaccinated against a virus that has killed 674,000 Americans since it took hold in March.

“The withdrawal of our freedom and liberty under the guise of a pandemic is deeply disturbing to me,” he said. “Hopefully, whether you’re leaning left or right, you’re worried about what’s happened in the past year and a half.

“I just wanted to do my thing, ‘live and let live’ and shut up. But this act of the federal government through corporate America has brought me to a crossroads. Our way of life, our freedom and liberty, is collapsing before our eyes.’

Gray Television said it would not comment on personal matters but provided Dailymail.com with a copy of its vaccination policy.

It required all employees in senior positions to be fully vaccinated by September 15 and all other employees to be fully vaccinated by October 1.

Bohnak is the latest TV personality to lose his job due to vaccine mandates.

ESPN reporter Allison Williams said earlier this month that she will not be working on the sidelines of college football games this season.

She said she refused to comply with the network’s vaccine mandate because she and her husband were trying to conceive their second child.
