Tiger King returns! Netflix CONFIRMS Season 2 of Highly Successful Series Documenting Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin’s Dramatic Feud

Netflix announced Thursday morning that Tiger King will return for a season 2.
A return to the docuseries — which was a huge success for the major streaming service last year — has long been rumored, but now the company has confirmed it will be disappearing later this fall.

There’s no specific date on when it will come out, but Netflix teased fans with an image of Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage AKA Joe Exotic with a big smile on his face as he calls in prison.
The synopsis of the upcoming season reads: “The worldwide hit Tiger King, which reached 64 million households in the first four weeks after its premiere in March 2020, returns to Netflix for more madness and mayhem.”
The docuseries brings back the directing team of Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin who worked on the first series Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness.

The original series had documented the feud between big cat enthusiasts Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin.
The feud then took a dark turn when the gun-toting, polygamist, country singer, former governor candidate and most importantly the zoo owner was arrested with a mullet for plotting a contract murder involving Baskin.
A lifelong lover of cats, Baskin has been interested in saving cats from an early age and has received media attention for the plight of large cats in captivity, such as Exotic’s at his zoo, for media and several other national and international programs.
