Billie Eilish gushed about meeting the British Royal Family on Wednesday while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC.

The 19-year-old singer was asked by Jimmy, 53, what it was like meeting them last month at the film premiere of No Time To Die in London.

“I take it they read you the rules and all that stuff before you met them?” Jimmy asked.

‘Oh yeah. There was a whole list of things,’ said the Los Angeles resident.

‘Did you pay attention to those rules? You didn’t, I have a feeling,’ said Jimmy.

‘I tried, I planned to. They were just so normal. They didn’t make me feel, oh I’m afraid I can’t talk to them,” added Billie, who was pictured meeting Charles, Prince of Wales, as well as Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Kate Middleton. , Duchess of Cambridge.

Billie wrote and starred in the theme song No Time To Die for the James Bond film of the same name which was the final appearance of Daniel Craig, 53, as Agent 007.

The song topped the UK Singles Chart in 2020, making it Billie’s first number one single in the UK.

Billie revealed that she and her older brother Finneas O’Connell, 24, pretended to write a Bond song years ago.

“We’d just say, let’s sit down and do some chords that feel Bond-esque,” she said.

Jimmy asked if they give themselves regular assignments.

‘Yes, it’s a song writing technique. It’s really helpful to have those limits of what you can do,” Billie said.

She credited her mother Maggie Baird, 62, for teaching her and Finneas how to write songs.
