Grammy-award winning singer Ruth Pointer was unmasked and eliminated on Wednesday on The Masked Singer after she performed as Cupcake on the hit Fox show.
The 75-year-old Pointer Sisters singer performed the Bruno Mars hit Finesse while dressed in a giant purple Cupcake costume with blue and purple swirling icing as the Group B contestants took the stage.
Ruth stunned panelists Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger during the hour-long Date Night-themed show.

Cupcake revealed to the panelists during a speed dating quiz after the performance that she considered herself the Black Elizabeth Taylor because she was married multiple times.
Nicole, 43, told her she loved her performance. When Nicole asked her to give her former self advice, Cupcake said, “Date, don’t get married.”
Before Cupcake’s debunking show host Nick Cannon, 40, wore a sequin top and black fedora, the panelist gave one last chance to guess her identity.
Ken, 52, said something in his gut told him she was Tina Turner. Robin said he thought she was comedian Leslie Jones. Jenny McCarthy, 48, suspected she was Grace Jones.

Only Nicole guessed it right after she switched from her first impression of Roberta Flack.
Ruth revealed after her unmasking that there would initially be two Cupcakes on the show, but her sister Anita, 73, was unable to participate due to health issues, so she decided to compete on her own.
Nick then asked Ruth to speak to her sick sister.

Then the “Men in Black” released a speed dating question table to help the panelists figure out their identities.
The judges quickly asked them questions, such as whether they like swimming in a lake or a pool, whether they like small gatherings or a big party. Their answers of more and big party did not bring the panelists any closer to discovering their real identities.
Then the Queen of Hearts, dressed in a huge red suit of hearts with blue lips and long gold nails, took the stage and sang “La Vie En Rose” by Édith Piaf in French.

Jenny told him his performance was “incredible.”
In the speed dating question round, Ken asked him if he was “lights on or off” and he said “on.” Nicole asked if he was hairy or bald and he said “extremely hairy.”
Mallard also said his favorite physical feature was his dimples.
Good question: in the speed dating question round, Ken Jeong asked Mallard if he was ‘lights on or off’ and he said ‘on’
“I know who it is,” Robin said. “The dimples, the body language and the voice, I think I know who this is.”
Nick stopped him and said it was Mallard’s speed date and asked Mallard which judge he had the most contact with. Mallard told him Jenny because they could sit on the couch and be on the same wavelength.
Robin intervened and said, “I think this is Freddie Prince Junior.” Jenny thought it might be Jon Bon Jovi. Robin then doubted his own guess, saying that Mario Lopez was also known for his dimples.
