A hotshot swim coach serving 15 years in prison after being found with more than 1,200 sickening photos and videos of children being molested has admitted to secretly filming young boys in a pool locker room.

Mark Andrew Sendecky, 39, pleaded guilty to possession and control of child abuse material using a carriage at Sydney Central Local Court on September 1 following his arrest on March 22.

According to documents filed in court on Friday and seen by Daily Mail Australia, the veteran athlete used Dropbox, Twitter and a Snapchat account associated with the email username ‘sniffsniff16’ to access links to the despicable images.

Detectives discovered 23 videos on the file-sharing platform, ranging from from amateur recordings to professional productions in which boys between the ages of five and 15 are forced to perform wicked acts on each other and grown men.

One recording showed four boys, aged between seven and fourteen, unaware that they were being filmed undressing in changing rooms by a swimming pool.

Police also found 1,227 disturbing images of children between the ages of six and 12 being abused.

When officers tried to access the Dropbox folder again on March 29, a week after his arrest, they were unable to access the account.

The former coach has been in custody for the past six months and will be sentenced next month.

Sendecky is a talented swimmer who has previously competed in the National Swimming Championships and has won a string of competitions throughout his career.

He was coaching and marketing director at Masters Swimming Victoria between 2014 and 2018 and was part of the Melbourne-based LGBTQI+ swim team Glammourhead Sharks.

In 2018 he moved to Sydney, where he joined the LGBTQI+ swim team Wett Ones.

Masters Swimming Victoria said in a statement that Sendecky “played no role with children or adolescents while associated with our organization.”

“MSV is saddened by recent media reports of our former member and coach, Mark Sendecky, being charged with criminal offences,” the statement read.

‘Mr Sendecky resigned from his volunteer position as Coaching Director at MSV in 2018. He has since had no relationship with MSV.

‘The safety of our members is a priority for MSV.’

Each organization has been scrubbing their respective social media pages of images and posts featuring the disgraced coach since his first lawsuit in May.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Glammourhead Sharks and Wett Ones for comment.

Sendecky was arrested at his home in Erskineville, in the inner west of Sydney, in March after police discovered the files, which were dated November 2019.

His sister-in-law previously told the Daily Mail Australia that she knew the case had “something to do with the internet and underage children”.

She said the allegations were “quite disturbing” for her family.

A source previously told Daily Mail Australia that Sendecky was a ‘calm person’ who kept to himself after moving from Melbourne to Sydney three years ago.
