Stunning: Australian actress Sarah Snook looks very different from the understated style of Succession’s Shiv, dazzling in designer dresses in a new shoot for Town and Country magazine

With her signature red locks styled in a quiff, Sarah, 33, looks incredible in a flowing gold halterneck dress for once, the declining number flaunting her jaw-dropping figure.

In another photo, the star in a cream blazer is staring intently into the camera lens, while the designer looks beyond in a sizzling trench coat that highlights her long legs.

In the accompanying interview, Sarah jokes about her Succession character’s now iconic style and jokes, “I’m terrified to wear a turtleneck right now.”

According to Succession costume designer Michelle Matland, Shiv’s appearance in season three will evolve again in the new episodes, with the character opting for more 1940s dresses and looks because “she wants to be one of the Roy men, but at the same time is there is a sexuality in her character that is so inherent in the telling of her story.”

In the interview, Sarah also reveals that she initially turned down the role of Shiv, which she says “felt like my first step toward Shiv.”

She explained that while she loved the script, she wasn’t sure she was the right person to play the character, and her management wanted to push for a better pay.

Even after accepting it, Sarah admitted that she was sure the role would be recast during filming. “I felt like this antipodean bargaining chip they were going to use to get a better person,” she insisted.

Season three of the show debuted on Sunday night, with the Roy family and their WayCorp conglomerate left in ruins during the premiere.

The show made a dark and twisted return after Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong) dropped a bomb in the season two finale, exposing his father Logan (Brian Cox) as an accomplice to sexual abuse and other accusations.

After the episode aired on HBO on Sunday, fans and critics alike were shocked to see Logan and Kendall pitted against each other in a bitter and bloodthirsty battle.

At the start of season three, both Kendall and his legendary father struggle to gain a foothold as the Roy family wage a civil war against each other.

Sarah recently revealed that she secretly married her best friend Dave Lawson.

The Australian actress fell for her fellow Aussie while the friends were locked up together.

Sarah, 33, proposed to Dave, 43, last October and the couple married in February in the backyard of her Brooklyn, New York home.

“At the beginning of the pandemic last year, I was locked up in Melbourne with one of my best friends and we fell in love,” she told Vogue last week.

“We’ve been friends since 2014, lived together, traveled together, always excited to see each other, but totally platonic.”

Sarah says the stars aligned and a romance developed between the pair — much like the plot of a movie she could star in.

“We’ve just never been single at the same time. It’s been a ride. There’s so much heartache and sadness in the world, but on a micro-personal level, I’ve been very lucky,” Snook said.
