Retired footballer Sam appears to have several projects in the works after winning SAS Australia earlier this year.

Sam and former Labor senator Sam Dastyari were spotted together Friday in Justin Hemmes’ CBD brasserie Felix, according to The Daily Telegraph.

There is speculation that the meeting between the two could be related to a possible television project.

It was also revealed that Burgess had been retained by Channel 7 for another TV series after appearing on SAS Australia.

But according to the publication, sources rejected claims that the pair would appear on Big Brother VIP.

A TV project between the pair is a possible possibility as both men have appeared in reality TV shows.

Dastyari starred in season five of I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2019.

Burgess, meanwhile, appeared on the final season of SAS Australia and was the only celebrity recruit to make it through the final roster during the hit series finale.

However, two sources have since revealed to Daily Mail Australia that the NRL star received preferential treatment during the series.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph last month, an insider claimed that producers “had the story of Sam Burgess’ redemption in their heads” from day one.
