He rose to fame with S Club 7 in the 1990s.
And Paul Cattermole looked unrecognizable from his heyday as a pop star when he took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his long graying beard and ponytail.
“Genie Hair #nofilter,” the singer joked as he waved his long locks at the camera for the selfie.

Paul posed for the camera in his garden wearing blue reflective sunglasses as he took advantage of the UK heat wave.
Fans were quick to compliment Paul on his appearance, telling him he matched his new look and showing their support for the star.
S Club 7 – formed by Paul, Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O’Meara, Jon Lee, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett – rose to fame after releasing their anthem Bring It All Back in 1999.

They recorded four studio albums, released 11 singles and sold more than 10 million albums worldwide.
But in 2002, Paul sent shockwaves through the group’s worldwide fan base when he spectacularly announced that he was leaving the band due to “creative differences.”
The group was renamed S Club and promised to continue making music, but broke up the following year.
Paul has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, but made an emotional appearance on the verschijning dating show First Dates Hotel in 2019.
The former singer went on a date with music lover Anna, but after being gently let down, he sobbed in front of the camera, asking for a “moment” to pull himself together.
During the date, Paul, who previously claimed he was contractually forced to date fellow bandmate Hannah during the height of their fame in the 1990s, reminisced about his days as a pop star.
Paul told Anna: ‘I don’t tend to tell about a date that I was in a pop group. It’s not what I want to scream about.

‘I ended up with the group for six years. I left before the end, I felt like I was losing myself and I wasn’t happy at all.
“I had the balls to say, ‘Guys, I have to go,’ but none of them said, ‘Stay.'”
Paul went on to make an epic date blunder by rekindling his past relationship with Hannah.
Speaking of his ex, he said to Anna, “I had a date with a member of the pop group – Hannah, there was nothing natural about it.
“Nice person, but I didn’t think this would lead to… I think because of the lifestyle at work.”
Oops: Paul made the mistake of bringing up his former flame and bandmate Hannah, which got his date off of him (pictured together in 2005)
And it seemed that Paul’s talk about exes discouraged Anna from pursuing anything romantic.
She quietly abandoned him, telling the singer, “I feel like we have so much in common.
‘I had a really nice time. But I do think it would be good if you were a little more confident, I think you’re a nice person and the industry has fooled you a bit.’
She added: “You apologized to yourself for doing nothing.”
Reflecting on the feedback, Paul choked on his lack of confidence: “I’ve been told that many times. I’ve made so many wrong choices.’
Unhappy: Paul has previously claimed that his relationship with Hannah didn’t run organically and was “written into their TV contracts” (pictured in 2004)
