Masks and QR codes:
Masks mandatory for all staff and customers in all indoor environments, including on public transport, airplanes and airports (except children under 12).
Masks no longer needed in office buildings (unvaccinated people still have to wear a mask in the office).
Masks are no longer required in outdoor environments (except for front desk personnel).
COVID Secure check-ins and proof of vaccination required for staff and customers.
Visiting family and friends:
A maximum of 20 visitors are allowed in your home at a time (visitor limits do not apply to children under 12).
Small outdoor gatherings and recreation allowed for up to 50 people (2 person limit for not fully vaccinated).
Visitors to residents of retirement homes and homes for the disabled are allowed in accordance with their policies.
Movement and recreation:
Gyms, indoor recreation and sports facilities open with density limits and up to 20 people in classes.
There are no distance limits for exercise or recreation.
Indoor pools open for swimming lessons, training and rehabilitation activities.
Community sports allowed for fully vaccinated staff, spectators and participants.
Shopping and personal services:
Non-critical retail stores open with density limits (people who are not fully vaccinated can only access non-critical retail through Click & Collect).
No customer limit for personal services (including hairdressers, spas, beauty and nail salons, tattoo and massage parlors), density limits apply.
Sex services are reopening.
Restaurants and hospitality:
Catering open with density limit up to 20 people per booking (takeaway only for people who are not fully vaccinated).
There is no singing inside (except for artists).
Dancing is allowed indoors and outdoors (except in nightclubs).
Drinking inside and outside can be done sitting or standing.
Working from home:
Employers allow employees to continue to work from home if reasonably possible.
Employers require staff who are not fully vaccinated to work from home if reasonably possible.
Events and entertainment:
Major recreational facilities (including stadiums, theme parks, and racetracks) will open with density limits for up to 5,000 people, or with exception.
Entertainment facilities (including cinemas and theatres) reopen with density limit or 75% fixed seating capacity.
Information and education facilities (including art galleries, museums and libraries) will reopen with density limits.
COVID safe outdoor gatherings allowed for up to 200 people.
Controlled public gatherings outside (eg – fenced, seated ticket) allowed for up to 3000 people with a density limit.
Nightclubs and strip clubs are reopening with sitting drinking and no dancing.
Weddings and Religious Services:
Wedding ceremonies allowed with no person limit (5 person limit for people who are not fully vaccinated), density limit still applies.
Wedding receptions are allowed with no restrictions on people (not allowed for people who are not fully vaccinated), eating and drinking while standing and dancing is allowed, the density limit still applies.
Funerals allowed with no person limit (10 person limit for those not fully vaccinated) and food and drink while standing, density limits still apply.
Places of worship are reopening for people who have not been fully vaccinated with density limits.
A maximum of 10 fully vaccinated singers are allowed to perform in places of worship and religious services.
