A popular Instagram fitness influencer from California has been missing for a month after uploading a video claiming she is pregnant.

Ca’Shawn Ashley Sims, 30, was last seen in Duarte, a town outside of Los Angeles, on Sept. 8 and her family launched an official appeal on Tuesday.

In her latest YouTube video, uploaded on September 11 but believed to have been filmed on July 29, the influencer – who is also known as Cookie – revealed that she discovered she was pregnant after her birthday in April.

Ca’Shawn’s mother and sister have asked for help to find the influencer who has been missing for a month and hasn’t posted anything on Instagram since early July.

the influencer, has a large following on social media, including over 216,000 people on her personal Instagram account, @cookieeedough, and nearly 10,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel, Body By Cookie.

Her mother spoke to ABC7 on Wednesday, saying her daughter is struggling with mental health issues caused by the pandemic.

Her sister, Ca’rynn Sims, also made an appeal on social media, writing on Instagram: “Please be on the lookout for my sister to make sure she’s okay and safe. She’s abandoned her house, her dog, and apparently her phone, which doesn’t look like her.”

She continued, “I never thought there would come a day when I would post a missing flyer for my sister. We want her to be covered with prayers, God’s grace and to know that she is whole, healthy and alive.”

Ca’rynn told people to watch out for her sister’s tattoos on her arms, the most notable of which is an elephant.

She also has the words ‘As sisters we stand together’ above a world on her forearm.

“Her family is concerned for her well-being and is asking the public for help,” the Los Angeles sheriff said in a statement.

In a public appeal, they wrote: “Investigators from the Los Angeles County Department of Missing Persons are asking the public for help in locating the missing person Cashawn Ashley Sims, nickname of ‘Cookie’.

She is a 30-year-old black woman who was last seen on September 8, 2021 on the 2100 block of Broach Ave. in Duarte.

Cashawn is 51″ tall, 120lbs with black shoulder length hair and hazel eyes.

‘Madam. Sim has a tattoo of ‘It is found in the soul’ on her left collarbone, ‘Earth’ on her left forearm, and a tattoo of Spanish script on her back.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500.

The public can also submit an anonymous tip by calling Crime Stoppers 800-222-TIPS (8477).
