Mark Wright has given his Instagram followers an inside look at the impressive progress being made in his and Michelle Keegan’s ‘£3.5 million’ mansion.

The 34-year-old television personality used his wrightyhome account on Wednesday to document both the exterior and interior work carried out on the five-bed Essex pad.

As he panned the camera across the vast landscape, Mark was joined by brother-in-law William Lee-Kemp as he briefed his 300,000 followers on the latest updates.

‘It’s a busy day on site today, brother-in-law William is hitting a butcher! He’s famous now, isn’t he!’ the former TOWIE star teased, following ITVBe’s special Jess Wright: The Wedding, which aired Tuesday.

While the workmen were busy in the front yard, Mark explained that they were building a bedroom wall to put plants against.

‘The landscape is now in full swing!’ he added excitedly.

The Heart FM host gave fans an extra treat by documenting the completion of work on the master suite, which he called “one of his favorite rooms in the entire house.”

‘Sometimes you have to wait a long time for the best!’ Mark joked to the men who were laying a ditramat.

Mark said the tile specialists were preparing for the suite’s steam room and sauna.

“So when I’m getting ready for a Saturday night, I’m going to work up a sweat, probably waiting for Michelle to finish!” he laughed.

Mark and Michelle, who are estimated to have a net worth of £12million, have documented the building process after purchasing the original property for £1.3million in October 2019.

And despite months of delays due to the Covid pandemic, their five-bedroom mansion is starting to resemble their architectural model after builders put the windows in place in late August.

Due to various lockdowns and Covid restrictions, construction is stop-start after they demolished a farm and started construction on a five bedroom townhouse complete with bar, gym, granny outhouse and outdoor pool.

The couple won schedule approval for the colossal construction project in January 2020 – and it looks like it will be more than two years before they can move in.

Construction experts estimate that demolishing and rebuilding the house will cost around £3.5 million.
