Meanwhile, Marc has previously discussed how changing his diet and starting exercise changed his body and confidence.
He said, “I had 21 percent body fat. I was in and out of the hospital because I had flare-ups of ulcerative colitis. I would be in the office 16 hours a day, six of which were in the bathroom because I was so sick.
‘I ate nothing but junk food. Actually, the doctor said, “We’ll have to remove your colon.” And I said, “I won’t!”

“So I went to a nutritionist named Lindsey Duncan, and he said, ‘If you do 100 percent of what I tell you to do, you’ll be in better shape than you’ve ever been, and you don’t have to let your double delete point.” I said, “Okay, sign me up.”
“When I started to feel better, and when my stomach didn’t hurt anymore, and when I didn’t sit on the toilet all day, and when I could look at myself in the mirror, and when I went from 21 percent body fat to five percent body fat and I had muscle, I thought: this is great!
“When guys started looking at me and asking me out, I felt a lot better about myself. So it was actually hard to keep my clothes on.’
He added: ‘And whenever I was asked to take my clothes off, I thought, ‘Of course! I haven’t trained in three years to keep all this a secret.’
“Everything changed. I cut my hair, I got contact lenses, I started grooming and getting manicures and pedicures. I started getting my hair cut every two weeks.
“I never took care of my appearance before. I thought, “What the heck? I’m in the studio 16 hours a day and nobody sees me.” Everything, it’s all changed a bit.
‘My life at home has changed. I wanted to invite people to dinner. I cared about interiors because I always wanted to have guests.’
