Maisie Smith ‘set to join Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins’ in first appearance since leaving EastEnders after 13 years
Maisie Smith will reportedly be joining SAS: Who Dares Wins after she leaves her role on EastEnders.
The 20-year-old actress, who retired from her role as Tiffany Butcher on the soap this month, will join a group of co-stars on the grueling course.
A source told The Sun: ‘Maisie wants to show that there’s a different side to her than the sweet Tiffany she’s been known for since she was six.

“She got a glimpse of life outside EastEnders in Strictly and enjoyed the freedom.
She signed up when she told ‘Enders Bosses’ that she was leaving, and can’t wait to commit and prove her guts. She’s determined to get a good picture of herself, but knows it’s going to be tough.”
The publication reports that Maisie will be traveling to the island of Raasay in the Hibrides in Scotland in the coming weeks for filming.
MailOnline has reached out to a representative from Maisie Smith and Channel 4 for comment.

The most recent series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins saw Alexandra Burke, Love Island’s Wes Nelson and Paralympian Aled Davies become the only stars to cross the trail out of 12 who took part.
Maisie has appeared on the show for 13 years, having joined the show in 2008 at age six, but decided to leave after reportedly getting some big money offers for other projects.
She said, ‘It’s time to say goodbye to Tiff! I have grown up with EastEnders since 2008 and have learned from the best over the past 13 years.
“I’m really looking forward to my next challenge and thank the BBC for the opportunity they gave me as a six-year-old.”

Ronnie’s Executive Producer Jon Sen added: “We are all very sad to see Maisie leave.
“She was a great member of the company during her time at EastEnders and it was a privilege to watch her blossom into the star she is.
She has created an iconic character in Tiff and the door is always open for her return. We wish her all the best for her future projects.’
The Sun has reported that Maisie chose not to renew her contract this time around as she wanted to pursue other projects elsewhere.
Maisie has reportedly been offered six-figure deals with clothing and beauty brands after her successful Strictly Come Dancing stint, but her contract with the BBC meant she had to turn them down.

Maisie finished second on Strictly Come Dancing last year after competing with professional Gorka Marquez, 31.
The star won Best Dramatic Performance by a Young Actor or Actress at the British Soap Awards in 2008, a year after joining EastEnders.
She was involved in a number of key storylines on the soap, including a shocking 2019 grooming plan.
Maisie’s contract previously prevented her from appearing in other shows, but she told The Sun last year that she’d like to try other things.
She said, “In the future I want to try new things and play new characters.”
The soap star’s final scenes have yet to air.
