The series has been plagued by rumors of a major recast or expansion.

But Luann de Lesseps, longtime Real Housewives Of New York City star, says she’s sticking with the series and expects to be there for the upcoming season 14.

While speaking with People On Tuesday, the 56-year-old cabaret singer said she “couldn’t see any reason why” she wouldn’t return for another season.

Despite the tumultuous last season, with an ongoing feud between Ramona Singer and Eboni K. Williams, Luann was still positive about the series.

“I love the show and I’ve been on it for a long time,” she said. “I see no reason why I shouldn’t be on the show next season.”

The reality star seems focused on the present, saving questions about her relapse plans for later.

“I’ll cross that bridge when I get there,” she said of her inevitable future after RHONY.

“People say, ‘Are you staying on for another season?’ Et cetera,’ she continued. ‘We will see.’

When her reality TV career comes to an end, Luann thinks she will turn her attention back to art.

‘I love being creative with my cabaret and I love my work in television. I’ve been doing it for a long time, even for the Housewives. I worked for Italian television,” she explains.

‘[I want] to stay active, continue to work in television and enjoy a thriving cabaret career,” the former Countess continued. “I love performing, I love the live interaction with the fans and I love the creative aspect of putting together a cabaret show. If I can do this for many years to come, it would be such a gift.”

In between the RHONY seasons, Luann has been working on the franchise crossover series Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, on which she is joined by Cynthia Bailey, Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga, Kenya Moore, Kyle Richards and Ramona Singer.

While filming with a largely new group of Housewives, Luann admitted she “didn’t know what to expect” from the experience.

“It was really cool to travel with a group of women from each franchise and get to know and bond with them,” she continued. “It feels different from the New York Housewives because we’re breaking the fourth wall. We talk about what it’s like to be in our own franchises too, and everything that comes with it.

“I think we’re all strong women and we all have these lives that we play on television, but there are things that bother us, that affect us,” she added. “Those are the things I think people would find interesting to hear about.”

Last week, Luann admitted how “disappointed” she was that the RHONY reunion had been canceled in an exclusive conversation with Thomas Roberts of DailyMailTV.

“Well, listen, it was a shame we didn’t have the reunion,” she told the host. “I think by the end of the season we had more or less solved our problems and I feel like too much time has passed. And so we didn’t have a reunion.’

DailyMail.com was the first to exclusively report that the September reunion was officially canceled by Bravo, after several postponements.

Luann revealed she was on vacation in Europe when she learned the reunion was no longer going ahead.

“When they told me not to come back, I stayed a little longer. So yes, I was disappointed, but I enjoyed it,” she said.

Although there had been lengthy negotiations over the Housewives’ conflicting schedules, the final nail in the coffin was reportedly an official complaint filed by Eboni K. Williams against her co-star Ramona Singer over a “racist” remark she allegedly made.

Once a third-party investigation was completed—which acquitted Ramona and found no evidence for Eboni’s complaint—there simply wasn’t enough time to plan the special reunion.
