While a deal is more likely to come in the summer, the Reds could be short of attacking options when Mo Salah and Sadio Mane head to the African Cup of Nations in the winter.

In his first season in Ligue 1, he made 30 appearances and scored two goals.
He made his international debut last September in a Nations League game against Denmark and has since played ten games for his country.
Doku has had a frustrating start to the current season after suffering a hamstring injury against Nantes in August and has yet to play.
Liverpool had been linked with Doku as a possible replacement for Xherdan Shaqiri who left for Lyon, but the Reds only made one signing in the summer in the form of defender Ibrahima Konate.
