Brittany said social media users shouldn’t rush to “cancel” people if they see something they don’t like, and should click “unfollow” instead.

She stressed that there is no need to “jump on a train of online bullying” when something controversial is happening.

Her co-host Laura Byrne, 35, had similar thoughts, saying that cancellation culture creates issues that could otherwise have been dealt with in a more civilized way.

“The problem with cancellation culture is that there are so many restrictions around learning,” she said.

“We learn so much from making mistakes, we learn so much from the conversations that come from making mistakes, and I think it’s such a great tool for everyone to do better collectively,” she added.
