Fitness queen Kayla Itsines has revealed a simple trick to make sure you never lose your keys while working out at the gym or on a hike.

The 30-year-old from Adelaide, South Australia demonstrated the hack by posting a now viral video to her 13.4 million Instagram followers.

In the short clip, she tied a hair tie around her keys and made a knot by tying the hair tie around herself, then placed it on the water bottle.

“I’ve often panicked in my pockets looking for my keys because I accidentally left them next to a treadmill, or somewhere in the free-weight section next to any bench. Well, stress out with this water bottle hack!!’ Kayla captioned the post.

“All you have to do is wrap a hair tie around your keys and then back through the center of the hair tie to make a sort of knot.

‘Then put the hair tie around your water bottle and the problem is solved!!’
