- Kathy and Paula performed a duet together at the reception

- Kathy and the singer appear to have been friends for years
Kathy Hilton and Paula Abdul looked like they were having a blast as they sang a song to the crowd at Paris Hilton’s lavish Bel-Air wedding on Thursday.
The 62-year-old mother of Paris and the 59-year-old singer and choreographer climbed the stage at the reception to sing a tune together.
While it wasn’t clear which song the old friends settled on, they both took turns sitting back on a chair, which may have been a reference to the chair used in an early video for Paula’s 1988 hit Straight Up.
Letting Go: Kathy Hilton, 62, and Paula Abdul, 59, looked like they were having a blast as they duet together at Paris Hilton’s wedding on Thursday
Paula looked chic in a deep burgundy jumpsuit with ruffled legs.
The outfit had semi-sheer sleeves and she lifted her figure with platform heels.
Kathy looked effortlessly elegant in a black fishnet dress covered in beautiful chandelier patterns made of silver sequins.
The outfit included a more revealing sheer panel across her chest, as well as sheer sleeves.
In Sync: Kathy and Paula took to a small stage near the reception to sing a duet while looking dramatically into each other’s eyes
Although Kathy is one of the more reserved stars in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, she let herself go completely while entertaining the front desk people.
She and Paula stared into each other’s eyes from opposite ends of the small stage as they groaned at each other.
Paris’ mother also clapped in a storm for her co-worker while Paula sat by the microphone.
The two women had a white chair with them on the stage, and they seemed to take turns sitting back on it, facing the audience.
Paula sang seated and also tilted the mic back so Kathy could line up.
The socialite also took turns sitting as Paula got up and continued to sing.
A classic: The performance featured a chair in which they took turns, which may have been a reference to an alternative video of Paula singing her 1988 hit Straight Up
Chair dance: Paula danced over and sat on a chair in an early video for Straight Up, which was supplanted by the David Fincher-directed official video, which won four MTV Video Music Awards
The two may have reenacted part of Paula’s dance with a chair in an alternative video for her iconic single Straight Up, released in 1989.
The official version of the video was shot after the song had already become a chart success by future Social Network director David Fincher.
The black and white clip featured Arsenio Hall with Paula and won four MTV Video Music Awards after becoming a mainstay on the network.
