Amanda Holden escaped the rat race and ongoing pandemic for a solo trip to Corfu, Greece this summer.

As travel restrictions eased, the 50-year-old Britain’s Got Talent judge was sure to escape for a while alone in late August, where she was sure to spend time “with me and absolutely no one else for the first time in years and years.”

She flew to the lavish Domes Miramare, an adults-only retreat on the Greek island, leaving her husband and daughters at home to enjoy the resort loved in the past by the likes of Aristotle Onassis and Jackie O.

Fans of the hotel still refer to it as the ‘Onassis hotel in Corfu’, thanks to its past guests, with Aristotle’s villa on the site in 1962.

The hotel is a historic building acquired by the luxury Domes group and brought into the 21st century, adding a pearly modernity to its eloquent, established charm.

Amanda explained at the time of her trip that she was giving up on ‘doing nothing’, and that she was even apprehensive about it.

“I am first and foremost a mommy, a daughter and a wife…for the next few days I get to be alone…just to be myself!” she told her Instagram followers. “I mean… I’m always myself… but I haven’t had time with me and absolutely no one else for years.
