Dame Helen Mirren looked sensational as she donned a black and white trouser suit at the L’Oréal Paris show during the city’s Fashion Week on Sunday.

The Queen actress, 76, looked chic in her attire as she staggered down the runway in a pair of chunky platform heels.

Her hair was tied up in a bun on top of her head to show off her heavy black eye makeup.

The star wore a pair of large hoop earrings and posed as she reached the end of the runway, looking every inch like the professional model.

Dame Helen was spotted in the French capital the day before as she was on her way to a fitting for the fashion event.

She was seen in an elegant black dress with a print of red roses as she entered the building.

The fencer wore a beige raincoat over the top of her dress as she wrapped herself warmly against the cool autumn air.

Dame Helen visited the Colorado earlier this month to promote her new film The Duke at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado.

The film, which will be released next February, follows the story of a taxi driver, Kempton Bunton, who steals Goya’s painting of The Duke Of Wellington.

Dame Helen turns into a dowdy cleaner Dorothy Bunton in a recent trailer for the newly released movie, which stars her alongside Jim Broadbent (who plays Kempton).

Earlier this year she said of her participation in The Duke: ‘The whole story surprised me. You’d want to take it with a grain of salt if it wasn’t all true.

‘I loved the charm of the script; it was sweet and very endearing. I love the sixties, it was a more naive, innocent time.

‘Dorothy is the practical one, who is the woman so often in the family; she keeps the family going. Kempton is the dreamer, but in many ways he is very dedicated and courageous.

‘We must get a leaf not only from Kempton’s book, but also from Dorothy’s – dreaming is all right, but you still have the bills to pay! So let’s hear it for the practical people in life too.

“When you’re playing an old married couple, it’s very important for the audience to believe that relationship. With Jim I slipped into the role of his wife very easily, there was no effort on my part.”
