An urgent orange alert has been issued for an 11-month-old boy who was taken from a home on Saturday afternoon and whom police fear is “significantly at risk”.
Police said a man took the boy from a house on Como Crescent in Southport on the Gold Coast around 5:15 p.m. and put him in a gray Mazda CX9.
A woman was allegedly assaulted at the address.

The boy is described as white with dark hair and wearing a light gray jumpsuit.
Police said the man’s appearance is that of a Pacific Islander and that he is three feet tall and sturdily built.
He was last seen in gray shorts and a yellow Los Angeles Lakers shirt.
The car is a gray Mazda CX9 with registration number 103 YZT from Queensland and last seen heading west on Smith Street near Kubari Avenue about 5:30 PM.
