Erin Holland reveals one valuable lesson she learned from her grueling stint at SAS Australia

She only attended the SAS Australia course for two short days, but gave it her all in that time.

But now, model Erin Holland has opened up about her time on the military show, saying she learned a valuable lesson after her appearance on the hit Channel Seven series.

Speaking to Popsugar this week, Erin, 32, said she had learned it was okay to fail.

“Failing is actually okay, and it was probably the biggest lesson for me in this whole thing, learning how to fail and how to go along with it and realize the limits,” she told the publication.

Erin said she discovered her limit was a “91-pound guy on my back” — referring to when head exerciser Ant Middleton told her to wear actor Dan Ewing.

The former Miss World Australia struggled to wear Dan before handing in her number and stopping the show.

She has since reflected on her time on the course and said she was sorry to leave the popular Channel Seven series so early.

“I’m pretty disappointed that I had to leave when I did because there were so many great things I would have loved to do,” she said.

“I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I love to do a good job in the things I do, I really hate to fall short so I think that was the hardest thing for me to deal with to go.’

Regardless of the brief stint, Erin believes she left the show to learn more about herself and her own abilities.

Last week, the model shared a photo of her bruised body on her Instagram, which was taken after her appearance on SAS.

“THE AFTERMATH… A rough look at what a few days of selection looked like,” she wrote in the caption.

“SAS Australia is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It’s 24/7 – so many tasks that it’s impossible to broadcast them all! SO much respect for my fellow recruits who are still struggling there – it only gets wilder from here on,” Erin added.

SAS Australia continues on Channel Seven on Monday at 7:30pm
