Emily Blunt admits she lost her cool the first time she met Jungle Cruise colleague Dwayne Johnson

Emily Blunt admitted she lost her cool the first time she met Dwayne Johnson while promoting their new movie Jungle Cruise on a CBS talk show on Wednesday.

The 38-year-old English actress was asked by Stephen, 57, during her performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, if she had met Dwayne, 49, before filming the Disney movie.

Emily said she met Dwayne after he called for dinner with producers, probably “to see if I was okay.”

“I was quite nervous to meet him, I must say,” Emily admitted.

She added that she knows the “rules for meeting a famous person” and noted that she is also married to actor John Krasinski, 41, who is also “highly visible.”

‘I know the basic rules. Keep your trap closed, keep it discreet, and mix in as much as you can,’ Emily said.

“He walks in and I just heard myself say, ‘Heyyy!’,” Emily said, reaching out her arms and making a funny face.

‘Like that. I didn’t know what I was doing,’ she added.

Stephen noted that most action stars aren’t that big in real life, but Dwayne is going against the trend.

“It’s huge,” Stephen said.

“I was walking next to him and people were taking pictures of us walking side by side on set. And I looked like his child. Just like his little kid,” Emily said.

Emily shared a clip from the film, revealing that she laughed every time she shot the scene.

“You can literally hear me laughing at the end of it as I run off the screen, there wasn’t one where I wasn’t laughing,” Emily said.
