The LACMA Art+Film Gala returned on Saturday as a personal occasion after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the security measures that came with it.

Fanning attended the event along with a number of other megastars including Miley Cyrus, Evan Longoria and Steven Spielberg who will be honored at the event.

Gucci continued its partnership with Los Angeles’ beloved art museum by returning as a sponsor this year. It comes amid the luxury brand’s 100th anniversary.

Audi also supported the annual event.

According to LACMA, all proceeds from the gala will “go towards endorsing LACMA’s initiative to put film at the heart of the museum’s curatorial programming, while also funding LACMA’s wider mission.”

This mission includes “exhibitions, acquisitions and educational programs, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.”

Since its inception, the Art+Film Gala has honored directors Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick and Clint Eastwood, among others, as well as artists such as Betye Saar, Catherine Opie and John Baldessari.
