Demi Lovato Compares Aliens To Angels After Filming Unidentified: ‘They Try To Protect Me From Myself’










Demi Lovato discussed aliens as if they were angels while promoting their alien hunting show Unidentified, which premieres this Thursday on Peacock.

‘I feel like we’re all our own worst enemy, or at least I am,’ said the 29-year-old ‘believer’ ET‘s Matt Cohen on Monday.

“So I could definitely see how if something up there watches over me, they’re trying to protect me from my worst enemy, myself.”

Demi (née Demetria) suffered a near-fatal overdose of heroin and fentanyl in their $8.3 million Hollywood Hills mansion in July 2018.

Lovato – who? came out as non-binary on May 19 – is now ‘legally blind with hearing loss and brain damage’ after ‘three strokes and one heart attack’.

‘I feel it’s so important to talk about it’ [aliens] because it raises our consciousness,” explained the two-time Grammy nominee, who saw a UFO/UAP in Joshua Tree.

“It expands our consciousness and that’s what we need to do to make this world a better place.”

The 29-year-old “believer” told ET’s Matt Cohen on Monday, “I feel like we’re all our own worst enemy, or at least I am. So I could definitely see how when something up there watches over me, they try to protect me from my worst enemy, which is myself.”

“Before shooting the show, I was a skeptic. And since we recorded the show, I haven’t stopped talking about it,” the 32-year-old Swipe Right actor told ET.

“I was like, ‘Do cameras record this?’ And I think Demi said, “Yeah, this is a TV show, we’re filming.” And I thought, “Good, because I can’t believe what’s happening now.”‘

Lovato originally met Montgomery in 2011 through Tiffany Thornton before filming Sonny with a Chance spin-off So Random! on the Disney channel.
