David Luiz almost came to tears as he emotionally said goodbye to his Arsenal team-mates
Luiz has made it clear that he is emotional to leave Arsenal. He burst into tears during his farewell address to his teammates in May.
He said, “If I’ve done something bad to you at times, I’m sorry, but I always meant to do my best for you.
“It was always my intention to help you. I think you kind of understood that I am a collective person, so my happiness is to see the others happy. So I do my best.
‘Thank you very much. Hope to see you soon guys. I’ll be playing for a few more years and soon I’ll be a coach… so maybe someone from here will be my player! I don’t see many parts for young players! [laughs]. “But it sure is great. It’s never easy when you complete a cycle, but it’s always great because God has the best for us.
“I tell you, especially the young boys, enjoy it because football moves so fast. One day I was the youngest in the dressing room, now I’m the oldest.’
