David Gyngell and his journalist wife Leila McKinnon have put their investment apartment in North Bondi on the market.

The three-bedroom unit has an asking price of $2.25 million and will go up for auction Nov. 18, according to realestate.com.au.

The property – which has been renovated by the couple – is housed in a beautiful Art Deco building and is just minutes from the iconic Bondi Beach.

The couple first bought the property in 2017 for $1,675,000 and rented it out for $1,300 a week.

The couple’s plan to offload North Bondi’s property comes after they buy another apartment.

They spent $4.5 million last year for another gorgeous three-bedroom unit in chic Bellevue Hill.

Channel Nine reporter Leila, 49, married businessman David, 55, – the son of Australian television pioneer Bruce Gyngell – in 2004. The pair then moved to Los Angeles in 2006.

They returned to Australia a year later, when David was named CEO of the Nine Network. He resigned from the role in 2015.

She then resumed her role at Nine and worked on several programs at the network.

The couple share two children – son Ted, nine, and daughter Gwendolen, seven.
