Corrections and Clarifications

An article headlined ‘Boris Johnson wants lockdown exercise rules to be relaxed as busy Britons crowd the streets, but shops, gyms and hairdressers could remain closed until April and pubs may not open until May’, published on January 30, 2021, included a panel that suggested there is a legal restriction on people who only leave their homes once a day. However, the legislation imposed no such limit on outdoor excursions. This correction was published in response to a confirmed statement from the Independent Press Standards Organization.
