BREAKING NEWS: NSW approaches critical 80 percent vaccination target as state reports 406 new cases
NSW is one step closer to more relaxed restrictions as the state registered 406 new cases and six more deaths.
The state remains on track to hit the 80 percent double-dose vaccination milestone this weekend, just days after lockdowns ended.
About 76.5 percent of residents over the age of 16 are now fully vaccinated.
About 711 cases are in hospital, including 143 patients in the ICU.
