Cher, Bette Midler and Dionne Warwick led the stars and congratulated Britney Spears on the happy news that her father is no longer her curator.

On Wednesday, a judge kicked Jamie Spears out of the conservatory that after 13 years controlled his 39-year-old daughter’s personal life and $60 million estate, in news that reportedly broke Britney into tears.

The singer took to Instagram to celebrate, writing: ‘On cloud 9 now!!!’, alongside photos and videos of her flying a prop plane for the first time before being greeted with the influx of support from fellow stars.

In the wake of winning the much-publicized Free Britney movement, Cher, 75, sparked the online joy when she revealed she’d prayed for the star’s emancipation, while Dionne, 80, elatedly claimed Britney could finally “breathe.” ‘.

Cher’s message read, “Thank God. I talked & [prayed] About these 4 YEARS. IM MORE THAN AWESOME 4 HAIR. BLESS OUR SUPER #FREEBRITNEY’.

Bette meanwhile wrote: “#BritneySpears is free. Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this, especially Britney, who, after 13 years in the wilderness, never gave up until she was finally heard.”

Dionne joined the legends to comment, writing: ‘This is great news. She can breathe now. Congratulations, Britney. Enjoy your life!’

It is a huge victory for the singer in her long struggle to regain control of her personal and financial affairs. LA Superior Court judge Brenda Penny appointed accountant John Zabel as temporary conservator after Jamie’s removal.

Zabel – a Certified Public Accountant will take over Britney’s financial affairs until the court decides she is ready to fend for herself again and custody can be terminated completely – which could happen in a few months.

Dozens of fans and supporters of what has come to be known as the #FreeBritney movement gathered outside the court, waved banners and changed ‘Free Britney’ and ‘Jamie for jail’.

Hit Back: Britney didn’t attend the hearing where a judge heard arguments for ending the conservatory. Both her parents Jamie and Lynn were virtually present via Zoom

Britney’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, thanked the movement for its support, which he said had been “instrumental.”

He noted that while today’s ruling is a “substantial step towards” [Britney’s] freedom,” there are additional allegations of assault by Britney under investigation by state and federal authorities.

Rosengart told TMZ Britney should “absolutely” sue her father if there is evidence Jamie embezzled money.

“Britney burst into tears when she heard the judge’s decision,” an anonymous source told Page Six.

“She had thought for a long time that she would never see the day when her father’s dominant control over every aspect of her life would end, but it finally happened.”

“She is in shock and has no words, but is literally jumping for joy,” the source added. “She hasn’t felt such joy in 13 years.”

While it’s unclear when Spears took her flying lesson, the post is thought to be symbolic of her newfound freedom.

In July, the singer legally got behind the wheel of a car and drove alone for the first time in 15 years after a judge lifted driving restrictions imposed on her by her father’s conservatory.

In the post about her flying lesson, Britney wrote: ‘On cloud 9 now!!!! The first time flying a plane and the first time in a prop plane!!! Geez I was scared!!! Pssss bring the ship home, JL…Stay stylish beautiful people!!!! New pictures coming soon!!!!’

A second video captures the view as the small plane flies over a strip of green land cutting through blue waters, followed by an unstable shot of palm trees.

It was later reported that Britney and her fiancé Sam Asghari were going on vacation for her conservatory hearing.

The Toxic hitmaker left LA with her fiancé for the legal meeting, where Judge Brenda Penny suspended her father. An insider told PEOPLE magazine: “Britney and Sam are currently out of town on vacation.

“She wanted to take the stress out of today. Of course she is happy with the outcome of the hearing.’

After the court ruling, Sam took to his Instagram story to celebrate, saying, “Free Britney! Congratulations!!!!!!!!!’

And next to a black-and-white photo of a female lion, he added: “She did this. Its fan base isn’t called the military for nothing.’
