The brunette bombshell was also about her battle with food addiction, sharing an uplifting quote from author Madalyn Beck that read, “Start over, my dear. Be brave enough to find the life you want and brave enough to pursue it.

“Then start over and love yourself the way you’ve always been meant to.”

Loving mom Chanelle’s own caption read in full: ‘I know some people see #bariatricurgery as cheating…

“I want to share my experience here because #foodaddiction is real and whether people choose bariatry or not, the way this addiction is viewed by society as a whole is like it’s ‘just an excuse to be greedy’.

‘It’s not. It’s hard to love yourself when you’re disgusted with yourself. It’s not easy to find the courage to change unhealthy behaviors when it’s your way of comforting yourself. I chose blue for these photos to make it clear that even if you change your life, there are still blue days and while physical health can be improved, working on our #mentalhealth is a constant struggle.”

She concluded: ‘Let’s not belittle some people’s addictions because they don’t fit with what an addiction should look like in the minds of others. Everyone’s struggle is valid.’

It comes after Chanelle recently shared how for years she “hate hated herself for being too big” but is now “the most satisfied” she’s ever felt.

Chanelle posed under a sign that read “hot stuff” and encouraged fans to embrace their bodies, while crediting a change in attitude for helping her realize she’s “good enough.”

Chanelle explained how a change in mindset helped her practice self-love and see herself differently. Chanelle revealed: “I’ve realized in recent years that I am what I tell myself I am. Growing up, I thought of myself as “ugly”, “the funny fat friend”, “not worthy”, “disgusting”.

“But even when I was a size 6, weighing less than 7 stone, I still didn’t feel good enough and I was constantly comparing myself to others who were just a little bit prettier or thinner, smarter or more popular.”

She continued: “I don’t confess that I am magically ‘fixed’ and that I keep the secrets of learning to be happy all the time. But since August 1, 2020, I’ve been telling myself every day that I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, I’m pretty enough, I’m HOT STUFF. I don’t care if anyone agrees, I only compete with myself and achieve only for myself.’

Chanelle admits she may still struggle with self-acceptance, adding: “I’m not happy every day, I have bad moods and negative days, but I’m the most satisfied with myself I’ve ever been in my life.

“I hate posts like this where people are preached to and I’m not bragging, I’m just so thankful that I feel like I have my life back.”

Since embarking on her weight loss journey, Chanelle has become known for her body positivity posts and recently saw her followers embracing their bikini bodies, revealing her “saggy skin” as she posed in her swimsuits.

“After years of hating my body for being too big, it’s now so small that my skin looks flabby and baggy.

“I have four breasts because my implants are in one place and my skin and breast tissue are in another,” Chanelle explains alongside her bikini photos.

“I have stretch marks on just about every part of my body, cellulite is my constant companion no matter how big or small I am at any given time.

“I didn’t like the look of my body then and I don’t like the look of my body now, but I love taking care of my body and the confidence that comes with being healthy.
