Carol Vorderman was the proud mom in every way on Sunday as she gushed about her son’s college achievements after he endured “endless” bullying.

The 60-year-old presenter took to her Twitter platform to share the good news that 24-year-old Cameron, who has special educational needs, had a master’s degree in Animation and Video Effects from the University of Dundee.

In a series of fiery tweets, the Welsh star described Cameron’s achievements and pointed to his ‘different’ development curve.

The former Countdown host kicked off her tribute with some throwback snaps: ‘A STORY OF PARTY. My son Cameron was a happy toddler. Before and after he went to school, it became clear that he had SERIOUS SPECIAL EDUCATION NEEDS.

“No school would accept him. I would give up my job to teach him, but even I couldn’t teach a child with his needs.”

From there, Carol gave her followers an insight into the close relationship they share in a slew of mother-and-son photos, alongside the words, “Cam went to a “special school” for 5 years where they specialized in teaching kids like him. .

“Then he changed school to regular age of 10, but still had additional specialist help. I knew he was super smart, but his development curve would have a different shape than “normal”.

The star, who rose to fame in 1982 when she appeared on the game show Countdown, went so far as to explain her son’s “different” developmental curve on a chart — claiming that the mainstream system “isn’t well suited” for those kids with learning disabilities.

In the fifth episode of her proud tweets, Carol recorded a sentimental video.

“I couldn’t be more proud of him and I love him dearly,” she said. “I’m also a very proud mother because I know how much effort he put in to get there.

“I think the message is really that for all those with special educational needs, their curve is different, just sometimes takes a little more time, but they can get there eventually.”

And in the sixth and final tweet, the delighted mom shared a ravishing photo of Cameron’s party cake with the words “the master” at the top.

‘A SUCCESS STORY ABOUT A CHILD WHO STRIVES FOR YEARS. I learned so much from Cameron. I have learned patience and kindness and perseverance and strategies and composure. He is now THE MASTER.
