Bondi backpacker hostel is closed due to a Covid outbreak with police masking the building
A popular backpacker hostel has been plunged into lock-down due to a Covid outbreak, while police tape the building.
Noah’s Backpackers Hostel has been cordoned off to the public while police officers in blue protective clothing guard the entrance.
It is currently unknown how many people are staying in the accommodation or how many people have tested positive for the virus.
It comes after the Bondi hostel was closed last April after a large group of people found themselves on a roof terrace.
Guests were seen ignoring distance practices and stay-at-home measures amid the lockdown in which Bondi considered the outbreak’s epicenter.
More to come.
