Annabelle O’Regan and Lauren Jenkins were the first women to be sent home on Wednesday night’s season premiere of The Bachelor.

And a source has now revealed why Jimmy Nicholson decided to let Annabelle pack up after just a few hours at the mansion.

A production insider claimed that Annabelle recognized the 31-year-old pilot after seeing him on a dating app and asking why he was on the show.

“Bel thought Jimmy was a privileged boy who still enjoyed the playboy lifestyle,” the insider told the Daily Mail Australia on Thursday.

Jimmy has never been short of female attention and [Bel] asked why he was even on The Bachelor,” they added.

The source claimed that Bel was sent home after expressing her concerns to another contestant, who then reported her to a producer.

Apparently the producers “didn’t want that negative attitude” towards Jimmy on set.

Daily Mail Australia understands that Bel sought solace from the bachelorette’s former ‘villain’ Pascal Wallace after her departure.

Fans will remember that Pascal was infamously booted out of the season of Elly and Becky Miles after he was caught slandering the mansion.

“They’ve known each other for a while. Pascal comforted Bel because she felt she had wasted her time and would be humiliated on TV,” a source said.

That’s not nice! Just minutes after Bel’s elimination on Wednesday night, Pascal accused Jimmy of sending Bel home alone after she “called him out” in a now-deleted Instagram post.

“Bel thought most of the girls weren’t even Jimmy’s type.”
