Shoppers love Aldi’s $4.99 potato gratin stuffed with mushrooms and truffle.
Emily Clair Webster, from Brisbane, shared a glowing review on TikTok after getting her hands on the bargain, which comes in a pack of four and costs just $1.24 each.
The baked product, which can be served as a snack or as a side dish, consists of a creamy potato gratin with pieces of mushrooms and a hint of truffle flavour.
The potato gratin can be baked in the oven or airfryer at 200C for up to 20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
‘They are so beautifully crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. These are so tasty they would make a great snack or side dish,” Emily said.
Her video has since been viewed more than 50,000 times, with many customers saying it’s one of their favorite purchases from Aldi.
“My boyfriend’s mom makes us this potato gratin along with other things for dinner, usually once a week — they’re literally my favorite,” one wrote.
Others said they couldn’t wait to try it.

‘I loved this! Tasted like an expensive side dish,” one woman wrote.
Another said: ‘We had them tonight. I loved them. Absolutely delicious.’
As one woman added, “I’ve told so many people about them… They’re insanely delicious.”
