This is the hilarious moment when a huge dog is squeezed through a cat flap to get into the bedroom of his owner’s children.
Footage filmed Nov. 15 in Tualatin, Oregon, shows owner Jaime Cedarlin brandishing some salami to her newly adopted six-month-old giant schnoodle Cassi.
Mrs. Cedarlin had wondered how the 50-pound dog, a cross between a schnauzer and a giant poodle, had entered the nursery and chewed on things.
So she decided to test how the “floofy” pet bypassed the baby gate, which has only a small flap for the family’s cat, Nonni, to pass through.
The clip shows Cassi, who weighs about 50 pounds, getting a call from Mrs. Cedarlin, who says, “Can you do it?”
Her children are behind her as she continues to call the dog, “Cassi, let’s go” and whistle to get the animal’s attention.
The dog shuffles through the gate, comes through and picks up the salami from Mrs. Cedarlin, who says, “There it is.”

Mrs. Cedarlin and her husband laugh when they realize that the pet gate and cat flap are not dog-proof.
A TikTok post was shared by Ms. Cedarlin of the images, which have racked up thousands of likes.
She wrote ‘I’m not even mad, just impressed’ and joked that her dog might have been a water dog.
The animal manages to squeeze through the small cat flap, causing Mrs. Cedarlin and her husband to laugh
She said, “The pet door was left open for our cat, Nonni, to get through. I certainly didn’t expect Cassi to make it.’
Ms Cedarlin explained in the comments to the Nov. 15 post that the family had adopted the dog locally a week earlier.
She had hoped that the house cat Nonni could retreat to her children’s bedroom, then realized that Cassi might not have made it through.
Commenters found the post hilarious, writing “I think I learned in high school that this is called osmosis” and “She’s amazing.”
Another commenter wrote: ‘I love daddy laughing in the background.’
Other commenters seemed to wonder if Cassi thought she was actually a cat.
